Southampton Bike Park

Southampton Bike Park was originally a volunteer-built facility, and we were tasked with transforming it into a multi-ability venue that meets current British Cycling safety standards.

The park features a mix of dirt jump lines and stone-surfaced trails, including a dual slalom, tabletops, switchbacks, doubles, hips, berms, and more.

Due to a 400mm intermediate pressure gas main running beneath the site, we worked closely with Southern Gas Network to design and implement a safe build plan that protected the gas main without compromising the design or usability of the park.

The scope of works included park design, land clearance, tree felling, material importation, track construction, and the installation of approximately 300m of perimeter fencing.
