World champion
Forte Trailscapes was founded by professional & former World Champion BMX rider Kye Forte. Creating jumps and tracks has always been something that Kye has done for as long as he can remember. Growing up, Kye and his brothers always dug their own dirt jumps, and building his own fun is where Kye began to learn the trade of designing and building trails. As Kye’s riding skills improved, so did the scale of the jumps. This led to learning to operate plant machinery, creating intricate shapes, quantifying materials and installing drainage systems, along with gaining an understanding of which materials to use where and when.

partnership & Community
In 2005, Kye began working in partnership with his local authority; Teignbridge District Council, to lead a project to create a concrete bowl for BMX riders and skateboarders, along with a fenced permanent jump facility in Newton Abbot, Devon. From undertaking this endeavour, Kye learnt a huge amount about the planning process, how to access community funds and how to engage with a wider spectrum of users.
